Vitamin D

I got my prescribed dosage of Vitamin D this morning.  How you ask?  What supplements am I taking?  One word, SUNSHINE!  I'm usually not a coffee drinker, every once and a while I get a wild hair to drink a cup.  At work we have a southern pecan flavored coffee and I'm usually game for that...but this morning for some reason I was feeling like coffee.  Geoff is the coffee drinker in our house, but in order for him to drink it, he has to have good coffee creamer, which he does.  He's been drinking the International Delight: Almond Joy coffee creamer.  It's chocolate-y, coconut-y bliss in a cup.  So...that's probably more of the reason behind my coffee drinking this morning.

Ha.  Now back to Vitamin D.  So, as I was drinking my coffee, I went to let Bella outside and I realized that it was super-duper warm outside.  The weather lady this morning said we should reach the lower 60's...but I was highly doubtful.  You proved me wrong, weather lady!  I decided to drink my coffee sitting on our back deck.  Ah..it was glorious.  SPRING is coming...yea!!  I think my arms actually got some color too!  Needless to say, I feel energized that Daylight Saving Time is only a week away and the warm weather is only weeks away, too.  I'm sure it'll snow in a few days...but HEY, I'm going to take it one day at a time and today...it's glorious.

Bedside
This is what lies beside me on a nightly basis.  My Nook, my rosary, my iPhone and the TV remote.  I love to read in bed, but it usually doesn't last long because I fall asleep.  Ha.  As I mentioned I'm trying to add more prayer and meditation into my daily life, during this Lenten season, so the rosary has been a HUGE help in that journey.  I love my iPhone.  I know that's cliche and probably absolutely ridiculous...but I do love it.  I love playing Words with Friends and enjoy Pinterest on it as well!  Getting calls and emails is just an added bonus=)  Lastly, the TV remote or CLICKER as we called in growing up.  I do like watching TV before going to bed, but I have to turn it off before I actually fall asleep.  If I fall asleep watching TV, I have the most ridiculous dreams known to man.  Weird...I know!

Okay, enough about my bedside.  Time to go enjoy the sun.  Geoff and I are going to Mt. Vernon for dinner tonight, I'm beyond excited and will report back to you tomorrow!  Happy Sunday!
