It was in the upper 70's today...it's March! I was just looking through my hard drive of pictures and last year, today we got 6 inches of snow. Really? Snow, seems like a figment of my imagination. Haha! It's suppose to be 80 degrees tomorrow. WOW. Geoff and I will be spending a good portion of the day raking our lawn and then putting fertilizer down. The joys of home ownership. :) No, I don't mind it...it's nice to be outside and hopefully my pasty white skin will get some color. Hopefully I won't go from pasty white to lobster red. Haha!
After church this afternoon I met Geoff at Texas Roadhouse for dinner. That place never disappoints. If you haven't been there, you should go. Geoff had prime rib and I had BBQ chicken, of course we shared a cactus blossom aka deep friend onion. It was delish. We then ran over to Home Depot, to get some fertilizer and of course we had to look at BBQ grills, lighting, paver stones, hummingbird feeders, sheds, trees, flowers, power tools, paint and patio furniture....the list goes on. I don't think there has been a time in my life that I've went into Home Depot, walked directly to what I was going in for and then left. I always get side tracked! I love Home Depot.
We then ran over to the mall, to walk off dinner. =) We can never go into the mall without going to the Pet Store. Tonight though...I had an emotional breakdown and told Geoff I never want to go back there again! One...it's always difficult for us to see so many dogs in such little spaces, however we feel like petting and loving on them helps...somehow?? Secondly, when a dog spots you walking in and won't take their eyes off you, that breaks my heart. A beautiful little beagle did that to us tonight. Poor, sweet girl. I just want to take all of them home! Lastly, there were 2 red bone coon hounds in an open kennel where people can pet them, they have more room to play and people can lift them up. While we were there 1 of the red bones got adopted. (Yay!) However, as we were standing there the other little red bone was looking at it's friend, like 'where are you going?' (Yes, I'm crying again!) I just about died...I looked and Geoff and said, 'I'm leaving right now!' I walked out and immediately started crying. My poor husband was like, what in the world is wrong! If had a 100 acres and all the money in the world...Geoff and I would have a dog farm! When I got home, I hugged Bella extra tight and told her how much I loved her. Dog are more than companions, they're family!

March 23rd: Moon
Taking pictures of the moon is terribly difficult. You have to have the exact right settings on your camera, which I have no idea what they are and you have to be extremely steady (tri-pods are a must) because your shutter speed is so slow. I took this picture a few years ago, but it's probably one of my best moon pictures.
March 24th: Animal
Here's our sweet girl, Bella. She is MUCH, MUCH more than an animal she's our little girl. Our pretty little girl...who's occasionally a monster. Have a good night!
