Maternity Pics!

From the moment I got pregnant (actually probably before that) I knew I wanted to have maternity pictures taken.  I wanted to be able to 'capture' that moment in our lives.  After months of research and contacting probably 5-6 photographers and looking through numerous websites I realized that getting maternity and newborn photos was going to cost us about the same amount we paid for our wedding pictures.  Ugh.  I was so disappointed...because Geoff was NOT willing to shell over that kind of dough...and I really wasn't either.  So, I had to come up with plan B...which is where I had an epiphany.  :)  My good friend, Lisabeth takes photos and to be honest some of the photos she took of our wedding are much better than what we got from our actual wedding photographer.  So...DUH, why hadn't I thought of her early.  Long story short...I asked Lis and thankfully she agreed.  So last weekend Lis came down and we went to a state park right by our house and took some photos.  These are just 'some' of the photos that she sent us and we couldn't be happier.  We LOVE them...Enjoy!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

These are just a handful of my favorites...I'd love to post all of them, because we really do LOVE them all.  I'm so lucky to have such a great friend who is so talented and willing to spend an afternoon listening to my husbands corny jokes...and we still get beautiful pictures.  Thank you Lisabeth!!
