My sweet book club girls decided to host a baby shower for the little boy...so last Friday (3/1) was the big night...and they did such a wonderful job! It was at Dana's house and she did an amazing job decorating and getting everything ready...once I get more pictures I'll be sure to post them, but I just have a few for the time being. When I first got there we all went to the photo booth that Lisabeth had set up and took some great photos. Then of course we ate some yummy food, played some games and then baby boy got spoiled rotten. :)
I'm so blessed to have such wonderful girl-friends...I always know if I need anything they'd be there in no time and I hope they feel the same way about me. :)
How far along? 35 weeks...5 weeks or 33 DAYS left!
Baby Size: Honeydew Melon - 18in and 5.25lbs
Total weight gain: 28lbs.
Maternity clothes? All maternity...there is no other option when you're carrying a 5lb bag of potatoes. hehe.
Stretch marks? Not that I can see.
Sleep: A few nights ago I had a rough night. Between Geoff's snoring, his tossing and turning and my uncomfortable-ness...I felt like I got NO sleep. Let's hope for better days!
Best moment this week: I'd confidently say the nursery is complete. (I'll post pictures soon) There are a few necessity items we have to add as well as deciding on his name so we can order either a wooden or cling of his name to put on the wall, but other than that, it's set!
Miss Anything? Being able to give my house a good cleaning. (Or maybe I'm just nesting!) Cleaning house has become quite the chore...and I'm sure it'll only get worse, once the little mister arrives.
Movement: Oh yeah, he's my little wiggle worm!
Food cravings: I love Sonic's soft serve ice cream...so the other night, Geoff made a run to go get me some. Thankfully there is a Sonic about a mile from our house. :)
Anything making you queasy or sick: No, not really.
Gender: A little Mister
Symptoms: I sound like a broken record. Still having Braxton Hicks contractions. I get tired very easily, backaches, swollen...you know regular 3rd trimester pregnancy joys!
Belly Button in or out? We're on the edge...haha!
Wedding rings on or off? On...but depends on the time of day and how good I'm being about drinking water.
Mood: I'm much more emotional and moody now. My poor husband. I'm also starting to get pretty nervous, but excited to meet the little boy!
Looking forward to: Relaxing (or trying) and just spending time with Geoff before life as we know it...changes drastically! :)
