| Our Christmas tree and as you can see our baby boy already has 2 stockings on the tree and one on the mantel. Sorry about the lighting, it's ultra bright. |
How far along? 22 Weeks
Baby Size: Banana - 11 inches and 1 POUND!!
Total weight gain: 13lbs
Maternity clothes? Good ole maternity jeans and leggings with dresses. Even splurged and bought maternity leggings, they're heavenly.
Stretch marks? So far, so good!
Sleep: My poor, poor arms. Because I've been sleeping on my sides more, I tuck my arm underneath my head or straight out and then after a while it's dead asleep and hard to move.
Best moment this week: Geoff feeling our baby boy move. He's tried for some time and finally our little mister was playing along and kicking his Daddy back.
Miss Anything? There's a list of things that the doctor tells you to stay away from eating...most importantly you have to make sure things are cooked all the way through. This has proven a little challenging, especially during the holidays when people are constantly bringing food and you don't really know what's in it or how it's cooked. Just trying to be extra careful.
Movement: He seems much more active when I'm sitting down, I think he gets bored. LOL! So at work or in the evenings when I'm relaxing he's constantly moving around!
Food cravings: It's hard for me to call any of these things 'cravings'. I was wanting a pecan pie so I made my first one a few nights ago. Delish!
Anything making you queasy or sick: No, not really.
Gender: Little BOY McCoy
Symptoms: I've started to get some pain in my tailbone, which they say could be the beginning of sciatica. Oh please, NO! So I've been sitting on an exercise ball at work and doing some stretching which seems to be helping. *fingers crossed*
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood: I was joking the other day that I'm not as emotional now that I have testosterone running through my veins...but when I cry, I C-R-Y!
Looking forward to: Buying furniture for the nursery, hopefully soon!
