Happy Easter! I hope everyone has had a wonderful day so far. Geoff and I started our day off by attending Mass at 9:15am this morning. It was a beautiful, packed service that was full of glorious music and celebration that our Lord has Risen. =) Amazement. That's what the priest focused on during the sermon. To not take things for granted on a daily basis and recognize, acknowledge and give thanks for the things in your life that are truly amazing.
When we got home...I'm not going to lie, I jumped on Facebook. Ha. I've missed 'staying in touch', I've felt very out of the loop these past few weeks. And to my amazement there were a few marriages/engagement, a divorce and a few babies on the way! Oh goodness, Facebook is back in my life. I don't know if that's good or bad.
I then made dessert, Carrot Cake Cheesecake Squares...we haven't had dessert yet, so if it's delicious, I'll post about it in the next few days. If you never hear me mention it again, you'll know it wasn't so good. Haha. Geoff and I then took an afternoon nap...gosh I love Sundays! I then woke up feeling refreshed and ready to tackle dinner. We grilled steaks, with twice baked potatoes and asparagus. It's been a while since we've had steaks, my poor husband, but they were delish tonight. They were so juicy and great. And can you ever go wrong with twice baked potatoes? I think not!
After dinner Bella and I went for a walk, while Geoff fertilized the lawn. It was a beautiful day, a little breezy, but nothing we couldn't tolerate. So overall, it was an amazing Easter! Once again, Happy Easter.
