Weight: 24.5
Height: (I don't know...and getting him to sit still for 5 seconds now days is nearly impossible!)
So we made the official transition to whole milk. It went very smoothly. I started off by adding a few ounces of regular milk with breast milk as I still had enough breast milk to get us through a few weeks. So every few days I would add a little more regular milk and before long he was drinking a full bottle (7-8oz) 3 times a day of regular milk!
Then shortly after we made that transition we started to have Brayden transition from the bottle to the sippie cup for 2 of his 3 feedings. I was still letting him have his bottle before bed.
He's pretty much just on table food...which is so nice. We occasionally get him some Gerber meals or something like that for those days that I'm feeling lazy, but other than that he either eats what we're having or I'll make him something. He's such a good eater and there really isn't anything that I've tried to give him that he doesn't like. The only downfall, is we did find out that Brayden is allergic to EGGS! Ahh! French toast and scrambled eggs were the culprits of a nasty break out in hives. It was terrifying. However after some time and a great, comforting pediatrician, we're equipped with the knowledge, benadryll and an epi-pen if Brayden was to ever have an allergic reaction.
Really no changes in bed time, which isn't a bad thing. Still going to bed at 7:30pm and waking up around 6:30am. I won't complain about that. He's started to more consistently sleep through the entire night and not even wake for a diaper change, which is awesome!
Some of the firsts this month. We have totally done away with the pacy and haven't looked back since. Brayden didn't miss a beat. One night I went to give it to him and he flung it down...so I figured that was his way of telling me he didn't want it.
Drum roll please...Brayden took his first steps!! And we got it on video. Ha! I could tell that he was really wanting to walk, but I wanted Geoff to be around. So one night I told Geoff, I think Brayden is ready to walk, so we tried and sure enough he took a few steps! We're so proud. Haha.
Every single day is something new with this little boy, he is so much dang fun. He's a ball of energy that never slows down, but he's also the sweetest baby boy. He's learned how to give kisses, he's really picked up his basic baby sign language and loves Bella more than the world. Haha. I'll quit jabbering and show you some pictures.
