The Reel McCoy's: Brayden

Wow. I'm actually posting an update on Brayden before he's a month older. It's a miracle! haha. So I'm going to be toning down my monthly updates, because to be quite honest not a lot changes in the eating/drinking arena. Developmentally, that's a whole 'nuther ball game. So I'm just going to try and remember some details from the month. :) We did go to his 15 month appointment on Monday so I do have some stats...

Weight: 26 lbs.

Height: 32 in.

He's in the 75th percentile all around for height, weight and head circumference. So he's pretty much perfect. ;)

This little boy is seriously so much fun...but he's also a handful that goes non-stop all the time!

He LOVES to be outside, but hates when I tell him it's time to come in. Drinks his milk like a champ, but has decided that certain foods like mashed potatoes, he'll go ahead a spit back out. He's eats like a bird one time (because he'll randomly act picky) and then the next meal, you'd swear he has a bottomless pit for a belly! He doesn't like for Mommy to 'help' him walk...well actually he runs. He can stand up without any help and loves to run in circles. He loves throwing, so anything he picks up...plan on it flying. He tries to blow kisses and will put his hand to his mouth, make the kiss sound, but won't blow it away. ha! He loves to blow his food to 'cool' it down. Mommy gave him a few drinks of her chocolate milk so now every morning he'll keeping asking for more of my milk! (opps!) He loves the water and bubbles.

He knows where his ears, eyes, nose and toes are and will point them out. He's really started to understand when we ask him something. For example he knows when we tell him to get his ball or where is your tractor/socks. Smart boy, I tell ya!

Still goes to bed at 7:30pm and wakes between 5:15am (random) and 7am. We're trying to work on that. So what time he wakes up usually determines if he takes 1 or 2 naps.

His little giggle melts our hearts!
